1. Information on your device
Currency choices, favorites, setup completion, language, appearance, usage-sharing choice and the last rate snapshot are stored in the app’s device storage. Entered amounts and calculations are processed in memory. We operate no account or calculation-history server. Entered amounts reset when the app restarts.
2. Optional usage sharing
Usage sharing is off on a new installation. If you enable it in Settings, Google Firebase Analytics processes screen transitions, currency selections, favorite actions, use of quantity/split calculations, rate refresh success or failure, and basic app usage events. Analytics may include an app-installation identifier, device, OS, app version and language information, and approximate location derived from an IP address. Google Signals and the Google account’s additional data-sharing options are off. The app does not send entered amounts, calculation results, individual keypad input or search queries in analytics events. We do not set names, telephone numbers or account IDs in Analytics.
3. Purpose and choice
Analytics helps improve usability and reliability. Baro has no ads, advertising personalization or in-app purchases. The iOS build uses the Analytics product without advertising-identifier collection capability; IDFV collection and advertising-personalization signals are disabled. Calculations remain available when usage sharing is off. Turning it off disables later collection and does not immediately delete information already collected on the server.
4. Rate provider and external processing
Reference rates come from Frankfurter’s HTTPS API. Technical information such as the IP address needed for network communication may reach the provider; entered amounts and calculation results do not. When you opt into usage sharing, Google processes analytics through Firebase/Google Analytics. Provider infrastructure may process information outside your country. We have no proprietary rate/personal-information server or account synchronization service.
5. Retention and deletion
Device preferences and cached rates remain until replaced or app data is deleted. Removing the app deletes its device storage according to the operating system; backups may remain separately depending on device and account backup settings. Current Google Analytics settings retain event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months, with the user-data retention period reset by new activity. These limits do not apply to most aggregate reports. Google’s service processing policies also apply. Contact us below with privacy or deletion requests. Because we have no accounts and do not link real-world identity to analytics identifiers, an email alone may not identify the analytics records of a particular installation. We cannot remotely recover or delete device settings or amounts that we do not hold.
6. Website and email support
ttrufle.com operates separately from the app’s local data. Cloudflare may process IP addresses, request paths, browser information and security logs to deliver and protect the site. The website has no product analytics script or advertising cookies. When you email support, the operator uses the email address, message and attachments you send to investigate and respond; email providers may also process delivery and storage. We retain support information as needed to resolve the request, delete information no longer needed, and comply with applicable retention obligations. Do not send unnecessary personal information, transaction records or credentials.
7. Your choices and policy changes
You can change usage sharing at any time in Settings. For access, correction or deletion of support information, or other privacy questions, contact support@ttrufle.com. Features that change information processing will be reflected in this policy and store disclosures, with required notices and consent. Operator and privacy contact: Gorae Labs / support@ttrufle.com.
