1. Summary
Financial Calculator is an offline calculation and learning tool. The current paid v1 release does not require an account. Gorae Labs does not collect, receive, sell, rent, or use personal data or calculation data through the app. Calculator, worksheets, lessons, History, Audit replay, and restore work without a network connection.
2. Data kept on your device
The app may save the following in its private app container:
- calculator entries, results, modes, profile, indicators, and settings;
- TVM values, worksheet inputs and results, memories, schedules, and tables;
- command-based Audit events, versioned snapshots, and History records;
- Coach progress for the current exercise and aggregate mistake categories; and
- language, date, number, display, sound, and haptic preferences.
This information is processed locally. It is not sent to Gorae Labs, an analytics provider, a crash-reporting provider, an advertising network, Supabase, or an entitlement server.
3. Information the app does not request or collect
The app has no account or sign-in and does not ask for a name, email address, postal address, phone number, contacts, location, photos, camera or microphone data, health data, financial account credentials, advertising identifier, device identifier, or browsing history. It does not connect financial accounts, execute transactions, fetch market data, or provide personalized financial advice.
The paid v1 release contains no advertising, tracking, analytics, remote crash-reporting, in-app-purchase, Supabase, or remote entitlement SDK. Gorae Labs therefore has no server-side app record through which it can identify, retrieve, correct, or delete your calculations.
4. Website and support communications
The public ttrufle.com website is separate from the app's local calculation storage. Cloudflare delivers the website and may process standard web request information such as an IP address, user agent, requested path, and security events under its own privacy terms. This site does not use advertising cookies or product analytics.
If you email support, Gorae Labs receives the address, message, and attachments you choose to send. Support messages are used to answer the request, investigate the issue, prevent abuse, and keep a reasonable business record. Do not include calculation values or other sensitive information unless you decide it is necessary.
5. Device backups and transfers
The app does not create cloud backups or synchronize its database. On Android, the database is kept in the system no-backup directory; app backup is disabled and app data is excluded from cloud and device-transfer rules. On iOS, the Application Support directory is marked and verified with Apple's backup-exclusion resource value before the database opens.
These are operating-system controls, not application-level encryption or forensic-protection guarantees. Platform providers, device manufacturers, administrators, and forensic tools may have capabilities outside the app's control.
7. Retention and deletion
Local state remains in the private app container so the session can be restored after termination or update. History and its Audit data remain until you delete a record, confirm Clear all history, clear app storage where the operating system provides that control, or delete the app. Clearing History does not delete the live calculator snapshot, memories, profile, or preferences.
If data is corrupt or from an unsupported version, the app preserves the original local record and opens a safe unsaved session rather than overwriting it. Full operating-system app-data clearing or app deletion removes that preserved local data. Because Gorae Labs does not receive app data, there is no remote account-deletion request for this release.
8. Security
Local data is protected by the app sandbox and the security controls provided by iOS or Android. No security measure is perfect, and this policy does not claim separate app-level encryption. Protect the device with a passcode and current operating-system updates.
9. Children
The app is a general finance education and calculation tool. It is not directed to children or offered as a Kids Category app. The app does not knowingly collect personal data from children or adults because it does not collect personal data through the app.
10. Future features and policy changes
Remote entitlement recovery, a free or ad-supported conversion, in-app purchases, advertising, analytics, accounts, cloud backup, and Supabase connectivity are not part of the current release. Before a feature changes these practices, the app, this policy, any required consent flow, and the store privacy declarations will be updated. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date.
