Who this policy covers
Gorae Labs publishes momo JLPT, momo HSK and momo TOPIK under the momo name. This policy covers these apps, their product and support pages, and support messages sent to support@ttrufle.com. The apps have separate local storage and store registrations. There is no momo account or cloud-sync service.
Learning data on your device
The app stores the selected exam grade, cumulative-round progress, self-assessments, marked words, display and pronunciation preferences, and usage-sharing choice in its private local storage. The app does not send word meanings, search text or individual learning-progress records to Gorae Labs or to Analytics. Pronunciation uses your operating system’s text-to-speech service, which may need installed voices or a network download and is subject to the platform provider’s settings and policy.
There is no server copy from which support can restore your word-study records. Device backup and transfer settings may affect local data. Resetting a grade clears that grade’s progress and marks; it does not refund purchases or erase reports previously sent to Google. Removing the app can remove its local records.
Optional usage analytics
Usage sharing starts off. If you agree in the app, Google Analytics for Firebase is initialized to help us understand navigation and learning completion. You may decline and continue studying, or turn sharing off in Settings. This option is offered only to people aged 14 or older; if you are younger, leave sharing off. We do not collect your age or create an app user account.
Analytics may process fixed screen names, learning-start/completion events, sessions, app version, device and operating-system information, language, an app-instance identifier, an iOS vendor identifier where applicable, and approximate location derived from the device IP address. The SDK may also generate standard app and store-purchase measurement events when those features are available. Custom momo events do not contain vocabulary, search text, progress counts, raw receipts or payment-card details. Advertising storage, advertising personalisation and ad-user-data consent remain denied; advertising-identifier collection is disabled in the app configuration.
Google LLC processes this data over encrypted connections, including on infrastructure outside your country such as the United States. Processing and retention follow Google’s service terms and the linked Analytics property’s retention settings. Aggregate reports can have a different lifetime from individual event data. Turning sharing off stops future collection and resets the analytics data and identifier on the device. It does not immediately delete data already sent to Google or aggregate reports. Contact us for access, correction, deletion or processing-restriction requests where applicable. Because the app has no account or real-name link, an email address alone may not identify the analytics records of a particular installation.
In-app advertising and privacy choices
Builds that support advertising display Google AdMob banners and interstitials. Banners appear below Home and Vocabulary. An interstitial may appear when you choose Home or the next round after completing a study round. Development builds use Google demo ads. An unavailable ad does not prevent local learning.
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) checks advertising consent at app startup and presents privacy choices where required. The app initializes the ad SDK and requests ads only after UMP permits requests. When required, Settings provides an advertising privacy options entry point. Firebase usage analytics consent is separate.
The app requests non-personalized ads and disables iOS IDFA and Android advertising ID collection. Google may still process IP addresses and approximate location inferred from them, device and app information, app- or developer-scoped identifiers such as Android app set ID, ad impressions, interactions, diagnostics and performance data for advertising, measurement, security and fraud prevention. Non-personalized ads can still use local storage or identifiers where regional consent permits. The app does not include vocabulary, searches or individual learning progress in ad requests.

Turning off optional Firebase usage sharing does not turn off advertising or delete data already processed by Google; advertising choices are managed separately through UMP where required.
Store purchases
Purchases are disabled in the current development build. If a grade pack is offered in a later build, Apple or Google handles payment. The app uses the store billing interface, through EggLab Billing, to check product and entitlement information and restore eligible purchases. The app publisher does not receive your payment-card number. Store providers process account and transaction data under their own policies. JLPT, HSK and TOPIK products are separate, and we do not operate a momo receipt-upload or account-sync server.
Website and support
The ttrufle.com website is served through Cloudflare. Technical requests can include an IP address, request URL, browser or device information, time and security logs needed to deliver and protect the website. Cloudflare also injects a Web Analytics beacon into published pages to measure visits and browser performance, including page addresses, referrers, device/browser categories and loading metrics. Cloudflare describes this service as not using analytics cookies or cross-site visitor profiling. This website measurement is separate from the app’s optional Firebase sharing setting. The website does not run the app’s Firebase Analytics SDK and has no app account, sign-in form or advertising script.
If you email support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer, investigate and follow up, and retain them as needed for that purpose and applicable legal obligations. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, government IDs or unnecessary personal information. Cloudflare, email services and app-store providers apply their own processing and retention arrangements.
Your choices and rights
You can study without optional analytics, change sharing in Settings, reset a grade’s learning records or remove the app. Contact support@ttrufle.com to ask about personal information, withdraw consent or exercise rights available under applicable law. If information about a child has been processed contrary to these conditions or applicable law, a parent or guardian can contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action. We do not sell personal information or use learning records for personalised advertising.
Changes and contact
We will publish material changes on these pages with an updated effective date and obtain additional consent when required.
